Artist Residency North Wales

Stiwdio Maelor is now accepting applications for the writer/artist in residence program for 2016. Stiwdio Maelor offers artists and writers working in any discipline and at any stage in their career the opportunity to undertake self-directed residencies in our newly converted Studio in an ex-mining village in the Snowdonia National Park in North Wales

This residency is fundamentally about process rather than production and can last either two to eight weeks. During this residency the writer/artist might explore the area and be inspired, test a new idea or way of working, or just get away from the daily routines of the studio and life. This resource offers the writer/artist the opportunity to invest focused time and thought in their practice without the demands or expectations of making resolved new works.
