Gillian Dickinson North East Young Sculptor of the Year
/The deadline for the Gillian Dickinson North East Young Sculptor of the Year is 30th November.
This new opportunity aims to support upto 10 artists to make proposals for sculpture and oneof the artists will be selected to produce a full size work at Cheeseburn and will receive a budget of £5,000 together with support andmentoring through the design and production process.
The Gillian Dickinson Trust has kindly funded the project for 3 years and we really hope thatstudios, universities and colleges in the region will be able to signpost young artists to take part.
Deadline for applications is 30th November – applicants should be under 25 and either from the region or committed toworking in the North East
Applicants are requested to apply via email to [email protected] and send:
- A one page written description outlining their current work as an artist
- A one page CV
- Up to six images of previous work

In addition whilst Cheesburn is mainly open to the public in the spring and summer we can arrange visits for artists who want to see the grounds, gallery and project spaces.
