Joella Wheatley, Platform Award winner 2012, has been included in a mixed painting show currently on display at De La Warr Pavilion.

Joella, who won her award in the same year that she graduated from The Arts University Bournemouth's Fine Art programme, is showing her work alongside the likes of Frank Auerbach and Lisa Milroy, and is included in a publication that accompanies the exhibition.

An initiative of CVAN South East the Platform Award aims to highlight the wealth of talent emerging from the region’s Higher Education Institutions and provides a much needed helping hand to artists embarking upon their professional careers.

I Cheer a Dead Man's Sweetheart; 21 Painters in Britain opened at De La Warr Pavilion on 15th March and will run until 29th July 2014.
