What we now know about arts education in the South East
/
Back at the beginning of 2013 the South East node of the Contemporary Visual Arts Network announced the launch of RADAR, a programme of research and activity that aimed to enhance and develop cultural opportunites for children and young people in the South East by working in partnership with its key visual arts organisations.
RADAR: CYP Strategic Development Plan is the result of a series of consultative meetings held across the South East last year (12/13) and hosted by our partners, Milton Keynes Gallery, Lighthouse and Turner Contemporary on behalf of CVAN South East.
The document includes a summary of issues facing the sector around its work with and for Children and Young People and a series of recommendations to strengthen and support this key area of programming. More information on the background and context of RADAR can be found on the website Frame and Reference where the report's author, Oliver Sumner, discusses its implications.
