Funded PhD opportunity researching economic & policy landscape for artists

The Oxford Internet Institute and Ruskin School of Art, in partnership with DACS, are currently seeking applications for a three year 'Knowledge Exchange' studentship investigating the economic and policy-making landscape for visual artists in the UK.

The funded studentship begins in October 2015 and will lead to a DPhil in Information, Communication and the Social Sciences at the University of Oxford.

By mobilising existing and prospective data, this cross-disciplinary PhD will bring together artistic and digital research agendas to investigate opportunities for transforming the economic and policy-making landscape for visual artists in the UK.

The application deadline is Friday 23 January 2015.
