TPWM Evaluation

In a follow up to our last post, which introduced Annabel Jackson's national evaluation of our network's activity in recent years. Today we are happy to introduce a more detailed evaluation of the West Midlands hub's work.

Key findings:

  • More than 80% of respondents said that TPWM has increased the awareness of opportunities for artists, and actually increased the opportunities for artists.
  • More than 60% of respondents said that TPWM has raised the profile of visual art in the region, strengthened networks between artists, creating a stronger sense of a community of artists in the region and increased critical debate. 
  • More than 50% of respondents said that TPWM has made the West Midlands a more attractive region for artists to work in.
  • 86% of respondents think that TPWM Midlands is making a difference to the contemporary visual arts sector in the region.
