At the core of the North East’s bid for devolved powers, political leaders recognise the region's popular culture and the international standing of cultural institutions and landmarks as a key differentiator and competitive strength.

How will the creative industries assist them to realise a better future for this region through devolution?

This question will form the basis for a panel discussion and Q&A featuring local experts from across the creative and cultural sector. It will address the issues, challenges and opportunities facing Newcastle and Gateshead's creative future.
