Shared learning across the Network ensures that nationally we all benefit from the work that individual regions undertake.

Our News feed also highlights existing and forthcoming programmes of activity.

Our Network has also developed closer relations with other national networks and strategic umbrella network organisations at regional level through specific programmes of work and at a national level by becoming a member of Visual Arts UK (VAUK) an alliance of national bodies working collectively to be a powerful voice for the arts in the UK. These bodies include: AIR, a-n The Artists Information Company, Artquest, Axis, Contemporary Art Society (CAS), Crafts Council, DACS, Engage, International Curators Forum, National Federation of Artist Studio providers, New Work Network, and VAGA.

To date the Network has:
Worked closely with CAS who are leading on a National Market Development Group where knowledge and expertise can be shared and collaborative programmes considered and rolled out.

Developed a stronger relationship with AiR, regional AiR reps are being supported to attend the National Summit and closer relationships between Coordinators and AiR reps encouraged to share knowledge.

Agreed to share knowledge on a regular basis at National level between the Network and Engage, Crafts Council, VAGA, a-n The Artists Information Company to avoid duplication of practice and to build collective intelligence that benefits the sector.

The Network continues to have a close relationship with Arts Council England through its regional and national offices.
