As part of fig-2, the Art Fund Curatorial Practice Workshop, led by Fatos Ustek, will bring together a range of arts and museum professionals to contemplate the future of curating and public institutions.

The workshop is the third and final part of an ongoing series that has explored the relationship between the artwork, the exhibition and the audience, and will consider the future of art and the places in which art ‘happens’ and can be experienced, as well as exploring ideas of new institutionalism. The workshop aims to shed light on the current state of affairs within the arts where private funding and philanthropic support is increasingly being seen as an alternative measure to the growing cuts in public funding, and will invite participants to together imagine the future potential of art institutions and their role in raising art's visibility at large.
