Since the award of the bursaries the three initiatives, Chance Finds Us, Spectrum Almanac and 3 Degrees of Separation have been busy making progress with their projects. Several of these sites have gone live.
This has involved interviews with artists, studio visits and commissioned writings. Each initiative is slightly different, based on their original proposals to the Critical Dialogue Group and either weighted towards practical events and exchanges or commissioned new texts on their practice in magazine or in published book format.
Chance Finds Us ( led on by artists Nick Kennedy & Anne Vibeke Mou)
Three Degrees of Separation (led on by artists Catherine Bertola & Jo Coupe)
Spectrum Almanac (led on by artists Sebastian Trend, Tom Whittle and Adam Hogarth)
These initial 3 are supported through the Critical Dialogue Bursaries but also a further two are being championed here.
CANNED - new magazine (to be several issues) PopUp Initiative launch July 2011 (led on by artists Iris Priest & Rory Bidulph)
PLATFORM A Gallery Middlesbrough 15 Sept 2011 seminar with Platform Arts/MIMA
Please track back to the site for news of further activities associated with the bursaries and for shared events in October 2011.
