In Another Place: participants announced

Earlier this year the Contemporary Visual Arts Network East Midlands (CVANEM) asked East Midlands organisations to apply to be part of In Another Place, a billboard campaign that will celebrate the breadth of the contemporary visual arts produced and presented by organisations in the region. CVAN EM have announced the ten successful organisations:

• Attenborough Arts Centre
• Backlit
• Leicester Print Workshop
• New Art Exchange
• NN Contemporary Art
• Primary
• QUAD
• Tattershall Castle
• The Collection & Usher Gallery
• UK Young Artists

Between May and July 2018, each organisation will display artwork on a billboard somewhere in the region and deliver a set of outreach activities. They will also be part of a regional project launch and PR campaign. CVAN EM will develop a set of printed and digital tools to promote and present the entire project. Through the campaign, CVAN EM hope to present regional organisations and their programmes to new audiences,  entice new audiences into regional venues and test a collaborative approach to regional programming.
