a-n Research is a-n's newest website development drawing together more than 250 cultural policy and strategy documents into one place. The site offers free access to over 20 years of research from across the visual arts and creative sectors in the UK.

Primarily focussing on the visual arts, much of the research is also relevant to other art forms, as well as to the strategic development of the UK’s creative sector. 

The wealth of material uploaded covers cultural policy and value, to education, leadership and regeneration. There are also a number of documents looking at the changing face of artists’ working practices, and research about the economic value of artists and cultural activity.
