About Trilogies Live:
As part of CFCCA's ongoing Call and Response programme of sound art, CFCCA and HOME will stage susan lui san lok's multi-channel installation Trilogies as a one-off single-channel film event with live sound interludes, called Trilogies Live.

Trilogies comprises three x 65 mins sequences. These draw on thirteen different adaptations of Jin Yong's The Condor Trilogy spanning some three decades from 1983 to 2015, accumulating depictions of gravity-defying lightness or weightlessness. For HOME, the artist will present Trilogies Live as a single two-hour sequence, with three live sound interludes. Trilogies and Trilogies Live form part of RoCH Fans & Legends, a new body of work commissioned by Derby QUAD and the Centre for Chinese Contemporary Art (CfCCA), in partnership with Animate Projects and the University of Salford.
