Tate St Ives announces new Artistic Director

Anne Barlow, the current director of the New York-based, non-profit exhibition space Art in General, has been appointed as the new artistic director of Tate St Ives.

In her wide ranging career, she has worked for the New Museum, New York, and Glasgow Museums as well as curating a number of independent projects, and participating in numerous arts panels and juries in the US and internationally. 

Anne’s passion for contemporary arts practice coupled with her interest in the histories of modernism, ideally suit her to lead the artistic vision for our work in Cornwall. She brings a wealth of experience and expertise in an international context.

Anne will start at Tate St Ives in spring 2017. Tate St Ives reopens on 31 March 2017
