Blaze and Contemporary Visual Arts Network North West (CVAN NW) are launching an innovative programme to engage young people in three special exhibitions in the North West throughout 2015.
These exhibitions will be held at the Grundy Art Gallery in Blackpool, The Atkinson in Southport and the Bury Art Museum & Sculpture Centre.
We are looking to contract an expert in Podcasting to support a group of young people to podcast their responses to artwork displayed in these exhibitions.
You will be expected to:
Work with a small group of young people to gather their responses aurally
Support the young people to use the recording technology themselves
Edit and create the podcast
Upload it onto MP3 players and onto online platforms
This is a £1200 contract (including travel expenses) offered on the basis of six days work between April and October 2015. You will spend roughly two days on each exhibition.

This role will contribute to delivering one element of the Young People’s strand of CVAN NW’s Art: ADDS project.
‘Art: Audience, Development, Discourse and Skills’ (Art: ADDS) is an Arts Council England funded project initiated by CVAN NW to develop skills, knowledge and expertise in the North West, and to improve the ability of visual arts organisations to build on and increase audiences. Art: ADDS has three priorities: Critical Writing, Artist Development and Young People.
