Allenheads Contemporary Arts are inviting creative practitioners to apply for self-funded residencies this winter in England's highest village.

Residencies include accommodation, studio space and professional support if required, and are available from October 2014 to March 2015.

The venue is the Old School House at Allenheads, in remote rural Northumberland in England's highest village, with views over the north Pennines in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It's an expansive, striking and stimulating environment for research, production and the presentation of new work, for artists ranging from new graduates to the internationally recognised.

ACA welcome enquiries from individuals or groups for a minimum period of one week; fees vary according to number of artists sharing facilities and duration of stay. Please contact ACA for prices for your requirements.

Applications are now being accepted for December 2014, with a deadline of 31st September.

For more information, or to submit an application, go to visit this page at ResArtis.org, or visit the official website at acart.org.uk.
