The Culture Action Europe Conference 2014: Beyond The Obvious is taking place in Newcastle/Gateshead from 9th - 11th October.
This year's conference aims to look beyond the obvious to explore the future borders and edges of culture and move beyond those conventional assumptions, beliefs and practices that impede the contribution of culture to social and economic regeneration at a local, national and European level.
If you can't attend the festival in person, that doesn't mean you can't take part.
Thanks to a collaboration with a group of students from Northumbria University you can get updates from the conference in different languages almost instantly at this website.
Several Twitter hashtags will be used to help you follow what's happening; keep your eye on the tags #BeyondTheObvious, #culturalvalue, #socialcapital and #gettingready, and use them to have your say on the Conference.
You can also follow CVAN's own Twitter account, where we will be tweeting from the event; follow us at @cvanetwork.
