30 Sep - 1 Oct, Hull
Yorkshire & Humber Visual Arts Network will host a weekend of curated conversations along Humber Street to discuss matters of common concern in the Visual Arts.
Nourish 17 is an opportunity for artists, curators, networks, organisations and professionals involved in the Visual Arts to connect, as well as guide YVAN to establish priorities and potential actions to support and grow the sector in the region and beyond.
The event will be curated by Hull based collective, Hack and Host, who will use food and drink as a vehicle for interesting conversation, helping people network whilst also talking openly and honestly about visual arts. Often, the most interesting conversations; project ideas and potential collaborations are usually born out of after hours pub chats and coffee shop accidental meetings. It is Hack and Host's intention to harness this feeling throughout the Nourish 17 event, food and drink will become the theme as opposed to an addition.
Nourish17 is a partnership between YVAN, Hull 2017 and Humber Street Gallery and is supported by Arts Council England.
Get the dates in your diary and get in touch if you are interested to attend.
