Contemporary Visual Arts Network North West (CVAN NW) and Blaze invite you to attend an opening seminar event to kick start the Young People’s strand of the Art: ADDS project.
This event will provide an opportunity to learn more about this strand of the project, as well as about Blaze, the young people’s organisation who will be co-ordinating the strand. The event will be led by Steph Brocken, Programme Manager for Engagement at Blaze.
It will also provide the chance to raise and discuss key questions and issues surrounding engaging young people in contemporary visual art as well as opening up the project to anyone who would like to get involved further and help to steer its future direction.
The session will take the form of a series of seminar discussions, providing opportunity to share ideas with a broad range of people from different organisations across the North West.
This event forms part of ‘Art: Audience, Development, Discourse and Skills’ (ART: ADDS), an Arts Council England funded project, initiated by CVAN NW, to develop skills, knowledge and expertise in the North West and to improve the ability of visual arts organisations to build on and increase audiences. ART: ADDS has three priorities: Critical Writing, Artist Development and Young People.
Please RSVP to Steph Brocken, Blaze Programme Manager, by Tuesday 18th November to confirm your attendance by emailing email@example.com
A programme will be emailed out in advance of the event. We look forward to welcoming you.
